Owing to a printer's error in Hall's review (Reference Hall2020) of Are Some Languages Better Than Others?, by R. M. W. Dixon (Reference Dixon2016), a quotation of Dixon is incorrect. It should read as follows:

Thus on page 195: “The implication is that one should now say: ‘Noun Mädchen ‘girl’ in German is of neuter gender but refers to a person of female sex gender’. This is daft.”

We regret the error.
