Bayerische Staatsbibliothek (BSB) have negotiated the following national consortium offers which are available to you as a member of BSB. Evidence-Based Acquisition (EBA)

Did you know that on average, members of BSB will pay only 6% of the total eBook usage value during their EBA*? Bayerische Staatsbibliothek offers an EBA model for all institutions from 1 October 2023 for one or three years, at a special consortium price. The model offers access to Cambridge University Press’ Frontlist and Backlist eBook content on Cambridge Core, comprising of over 50,000 titles (full package), and is available as a full, HSS or STM package. 

To celebrate publishing our 50,000 digital book this year, we are offering 50 additional ebooks for free to Full EBA customers if you renew before 31 July, 2024.

Cambridge Frontlist

You can purchase full, HSS, STM and subject specific collections, with a 10% discount on 2023 & 2024 collections, and a 15% discount on the backlist of the subject packages. Our collections now include research monographs, academic reference titles, Cambridge Elements and titles from our growing trade programme.

Higher Education from Cambridge University Press

We are now offering access to our Full Textbook collection via Bayerische Staatsbibliothek for a special consortium price, with further reductions for EBA customers. Provide access to over 1,000 textbooks on an unlimited concurrent user basis, with key functionality (specifically requested by librarians) including offline reading, printing (20% by page count), and full text-search within textbook content.

Transformative Agreement

We are delighted to partner with Bayerische Staatsbibliothek to support Open Access publishing in Germany through a Transformative Agreement. Researchers affiliated with participating institutions in Germany will be eligible to publish their research at no direct cost, or with a discount to their APC.
