Perpetual care of graves

The vicar-general favoured a minimum legacy of £1000, though some incumbents thought that £200 would be sufficient for their churchyards.

Clergy pensions

The bishop explained new arrangements for diocesan finance. The process of arranging for all pensions to be paid gross to the Isle of Man would take about twelve months.

On [72], it was legal to fly the Manx flag over churches and the cross of St George should have the diocesan arms on it.
