Summary
I walked for three days and three nights
one foot on the bank and one in the stream
the hostile buzzing of bees in my ears
and the bones’ dry buzzing in the cemetery
I walked in my death
pacing its underside for thousands of years without going forward
Gravedigger bird or pickaxe
pecks at the earth
empties it from within
strains the clay through his hands
“Make a place for me beside you!”
