Summary
Terracotta model for the Trinity bust, and like the Willoughby part of the Maty gift. It is curious to note that the lining of the cloak is here perfectly plain, so that the contrasting material noted in the marble was an after-thought. The work is as grand in sentiment as it is vivid in technique; were its history unknown, no one would have believed that it was not done from life.
