Uhlangane nabo bakusinde.

Kodwa wena ma uqhamuka,

Kuqin’ amadolo ngihambe.

Ngikubonile ngisekhaya

Ungiphumele phezu kwethantala

Lamanz’ emisinga yolwandle.

Ngama ngaphuthelwa kuhamba,

Ngakhex’ umlomo ngadla ngamehlo.

Obab’ omkhulu bakubon’ uphuma,

Ugqolozela umhlaba kanje,

Uphuphis’ abalel’ ubuthongo,

Ufunz’ izimbongi ngamazwi,

Ziwaqephuze zikhihliz’ amagwebu

Asik’ imizwa yomphefumulo kuphela.

Nami ngifunze Nonyezi,

Nyezi wemingcwi yokusa,

Obuhle bakho buqhamuka

Phezu kwamadamu emifula,

Nasohlazeni lotshani bezintaba.

Abantwana bakaZulu noXhosa
