This chapter concludes the book manuscript by looking at anger and the future of American government. Particularly, I look at whether the rise of anger in the mass public can be reversed. I conclude by arguing that anger is likely to remain a dominant force on the political scene for the foreseeable future. This has dramatic implications for democratic governance and the contestation of elections in the United States.
