Notum sit omnibus quod Gaufridus Berardi habebat burgum de monachis de Nuchariis in suburbio Insulæ castri apud Esmantiam, quem reliquit uxori suae Rosceæ post mortem suam, tali convenientia, ut quamdiu ipsa vixerit, habeat eumdem burgum, nec liceat illi eumdem burgum dare, nec vendere alicui nisi supradictis monachis; et post mortem ejus habebunt monachi de Nuchariis burgum illum, nec ullus, vel ulla parens Gaufridi Berardi in eodem burgo aliquid recti quærere poterit. Hoc donum fecit Gaufridus Berardus, annuente et audiente Bartholomæo, domino Insulæ.

Testes Aimericus Ivonis, et frater ejus Girardus; Gaufridus Adelelmi; Gaufridus Folium; Johannes Folium; Rainelmus Burcardi; Philippus de Mota; Petrus Thomas; Araldus de Uxello.

Notum sit omnibus tam præsentibus quam futuris, quod quidam vir nobilis, Garnerius nomine, cognomento Pisos, de Balgentiaco, venit ad Johannem, dominum Montis Basonis, præbere ei auxilium contra hostes suos. Accidit autem, dum cum Johanne maneret, ut quadam die egressus isdem Johannes ad pugnam, obviam haberet Eschivardum Prulliacensem dominum, et orto bello, pugnaverunt totis viribus, in qua pugna occisus est jam dictus Guarnerius, de cujus morte magnum mœrorem et luctum habuerunt Johannes et socii ejus, et non solum Johannes, sed etiam multi alii, qui eum non cognoscebant visu, eum planxerunt, tanta erat probitas viri.
