Summary

The church of Rome and its presidents aim to usurp what belongs to the minor and the middling ranks. The words of Christ are fulfilled in them: ‘And I, if I be lifted up from earth, will draw all unto me.’ Therefore the entire world is in disarray, the church is wounded and oppressed and, in the words of Gregory, the order of the church has been uprooted.
