Summary

The text of these letters is taken from manuscript T — Burgo de Osma (Soria). Catedral Archivo Capitular. MS 126. A limited reference is made to these letters in manuscript G. but T contains the only complete version of the letters.

Huic in eodem regimine. ipso tamen volente. successit Petrus. ejus consanguineus. pastor postmodum idoneus. vir satis industrius. et tantae sollicitudini multum opportunus. Hunc etenim monachi Malleacenses elegerunt. et sibi rapuerunt. et quantum dominum meum Gaufredum dilexerant. in eo ipso monstraverunt. quem pro patrui amore abbatem sibi prefecerunt. quamvis et multe utilitates ipsum abbatia dignum predicarent. Is sicuti avunculo suo successivus subintravit in honore. sic et heres ei perstitit. in morum decentissima liberalitate. Habemus itaque hunc Petrum. Deo gratias. bono Gaufredo superstitem. moribus et temporibus nostris satis concordem.
