Eodem die fuerunt in warderoba tres mappe noue (interlined una xxti ulnas alia xviij. tercia xiiij.) et duo manutergia noua duo surnapes, tria manutergia parua, quinque dupplicia, tria parua, quinque disci argentei, sex salsaria ponderis (1 in. blank at end of line) Tres cisti argentei quorum unus est de refectorario, duo petues, argentee cocleares xxiiij. septem pichere noue et vj. veteres ad uinum quatuor barelli ferrei.

Translation: ‘On Wednesday after the Assumption of the blessed Mary there were in the pantry in the fifth year of Abbot Edmund, when he recovered from illness, seven tablecloths, two of them perfect (one of nine ells and the other of four and a half), six towels in perfect condition, four [lengths of] cloth, each of 18 ells, two over-tablecloths, five ‘porters’ [?trays]. Item, one new tablecloth, one new towel.

On the same day there were in the wardrobe, three new tablecloths (one of twenty ells, of another eighteen, the third of fourteen) and two new towels, two over-tablecloths, three small towels [?napkins], five double [ones], three small, five silver dishes, six saltcellars weighing [blank], three silver cists (one of them is from the refectory), two patens [?], twenty-four silver spoons, seven new pitchers and six old ones for wine, four barrels [bound with] iron.
