Summary

Al transcribirse los documentos, se ha conservado la ortografía antigua, pero con algunas modificaciones. Se solucionan las abreviaturas y se sigue el uso moderno (y las normas establecidas en tomos anteriores de esta serie) en cuanto a las letras mayúsculas y minúsculas. Se convierten en cifras las fechas que se expresan en palabras en los documentos originales; otros números se reproducen en letras hasta diez inclusive y en guarismos a partir de 11. Las consonantes dobles que no ocurren en español moderno se han reducido a sencillas. Con el fin de facilitar la lectura, se ha modernizado la acentuación de acuerdo con las normas actuales de la Real Academia Española. Se suprimen las cedillas en çe y çi y se ponen siempre que se requieren en ça, ço, çu. Se ha añadido la puntuación que parece oportuna para la comprensión de los documentos.
