Summary

Q: Do you want to add something? BM: Yes. I want to say I am proud to be a union NUM member and a leader of the union because I've learned many things … When I joined the mine I did not know anything about laws, procedures; I was just focusing on my work. Not knowing about the rights. But when I started to join the union I was at least politically aware … As I am speaking right now I am not afraid to stand in front of the majority and talk about the right things … especially the rights of the employees, because of NUM. They trained me in many things. In fact I don't have standard at school but since I've joined the union I've learned many things, I've learned to speak different languages because of NUM.
