Summary

  • “ These were the Sheriffs since the last Eyre of the Justices in this County, namely, Robt. de Haya who died, Joh. Gumbaud, and Will, de Holewell who is now Sheriff.”

  • “ These were the Coroners since the last Eyre of the Justices, namely Will, de Faldho and Galfr. de Bretteuill’ and they are now Coroners.”

  • “ Englishry is presented in this County by one on the father's side and one on the mother's side, and only for males. And presentment is made both for misadventures and for murders.”

  • Hundred of Flitte appears by twelve.

  • Sim. fil, Joh. le Rus appealed Robt. Cuttekaple, Will, de Embredon, Joh. de Kent, and Rad. Pirot, for blows and robbery done on his brother Nich., and does not appear. Let him be taken, and his pledges to sue viz. Joh. le Rus of Sunedon and Joh. Aungeuin of the same be amerced. Defts. appear, and the Jury attest that they are agreed, and that all defts. are guilty; let them all be guarded. And the 12 jurors did not present that appeal; let them be amerced.

  • Ric. de Mortuo mari appealed the aforesaid Robt. Cuttekaple and the rest and likewise Andr. de Helyun, for blows and robbery, and does not appear. Let him be taken, and his pledges to sue viz. Walt. fil. Joh. de Sunedon and Sim. le Rus junior be amerced. Defts. appear; the Jury attest that they are agreed and that all defts. are guilty; let them be guarded.

  • Nich. faber of Sunedon appealed Joh. fil. Joh. Frebern of Herlingdon and Will. fil. Joh. Frebern, for blows and robbery, and does not appear. Let him be taken; and his pledges to sue viz. Will, le Knit of Sinedon and Hen. Page of the same, be amerced. Defts. appear; the Jury attest that they are agreed and that defts. are guilty; let them be guarded.

  • Will, le Knit of Sunedon appealed Will. Dolfin for blows etc., and does not appear. Let him be taken, and his pledge to sue viz. Thom, de la Stigle be amerced. Deft, appears; the Jury attest that they are agreed, and that he is guilty; let him be guarded.
