Summary
“Two Days in December” interprets the significance of the events of 8 and 10 December 1854, when Pius IX officially proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary before an immense crowd at St. Peter’s basilica and then took advantage of the presence in Rome of these multitudes to consecrate San Paolo two days later.
