[103r] Convocatio praelatorum et cleri Cantuariensis provinciae, facta per reverendissimum in Christo patrem et dominum Dominum Henricum, permissione divina Cantuariensem archiepiscopum, totius Angliae primatem et apostolicae sedis legatum, in ecclesia Sancti Pauli Londoniarum, die Lunae videlicet vicesimo octavo die mensis Aprilis anno Domini MCCCCXXXVIIIvo, indictione prima, pontificates sanctissimi in Christo patris et domini Domini Eugenii, divina providentia papae quarto, anno octavo, et translatione ipsius reverendissimi patris anno vicesimo quinto.

Eodem vero vicesimo octavo die Aprilis, in ecclesia cathedrali Sancti [Pauli] praedicta apud summum altare eiusdem missa de Sancto Spiritu per reverendum patrem Robertum Londoniensem episcopum celebrata, dictus reverendissimus pater archiepiscopus praedictus, una cum confratribus suis, videlicet dominis Roberto Londoniensi, Willelmo Lincolniensi, Thoma Her[e]fordensi, Thoma Norwicensi, Thoma Menevensi, Thoma Wigorniensi, IohanneAssavensi, Willelmo Roffensi, et Thoma Bangorensi episcopis protunc praesentibus, ad capellam Beatae Mariae in orientali parte dictae ecclesiae accessit, et facta ibidem collatione solemni, ut est moris, in Latino coram domino et dictis confratribus suis ac praelatis aliis quampluribus cleroque et populo in magna multitudine ibidem congregatis per fratrem Iohannem Courteys sacrae theologiae doctorem, sumpto sibi pro themate: 'Aedificans Ierusalem Dominus dispersiones Israelis congregabit;' qua finita lectum fuit certificatorium reverendi patris Domini Roberti Londoniensis episcopi supradicti tenorem continens subsequentem:

Reverendissimo in Christo patri et domino Domino Henrico, permissione divina Cantuariensi archiepiscopo, totius Angliae primati et apostolicae sedis legato, Robertas, permissione divina Londoniensis episcopus, reverentias et honores tanto patri debitas. Tenorem literarum apostolicarum et brevis regii in se continentes decimo septimo die Februarii ultimo praeteriti [17 February 1438] eo quo decuit recepimus cum honore seriem habentes infrascriptas in haec verba:

Henricus, permissione divina Cantuariensis etc., venerabili fratri nostro Domino Roberto Dei gratia Londoniensi episcopo, salutem et fraternam in Domino caritatem. Literas apostolicas sub vera bulla plumbea pridem recepimus in haec verba:

Eugenius episcopus, servus servorum Dei, venerabili fratri Henrico archiepiscopo Cantuariensi, salutem et apostolicam benedictionem.
