Originating from First Class Quarters

Route 1

From: A Deck, forward end.

Boat Deck entrance: extreme forward end.

Direct access to two outside ladders from A Deck to the Boat Deck.

Route 2

From: A Deck and Decks B, C, D, forward end.

Boat Deck entrance: First Class entrance - Grand Staircase between Funnels 1

and 2

Direct access to the Grand Staircase - or to the adjacent elevator, to A Deck, then to the Grand Staircase - and directly up to the Boat Deck.

Route 3

From: Decks B, C, midship.

Boat Deck entrance: same as Route 2.

Forward to the Grand Staircase - or to the adjacent elevator, to A Deck, then to the Grand Staircase - and directly up to the Boat Deck.

Route 4

From: Decks B, C, midship.

Boat Deck entrance: same as Route nos. 2 and 3.

Direct access to the after First Class staircase, between Funnels 3 and 4, then up to A Deck, then forward to the Grand Staircase, and directly up to the Boat Deck.

Route 5

From: Decks  C, E, midship.

Boat Deck entrance: same as Routes #2, #3, and #4.

Direct access to the Stewards’ Stairway; between the reciprocating engine casing and the nos.l and 2 boiler casing, and directly up to the Boat Deck.

Originating from Second Class Quarters2

Route 6

From: Decks D, E, F, between bulkheads M and N.

Boat Deck entrance: Second Class entrance; forward Second Class Staircase aft of Funnel 4.

Direct access to the forward Second Class Staircase and directly up to the Boat Deck.

Route 7

From: Decks D, E, F, G, between bulkheads Í and O.

Boat Deck entrance: same as Route 6.

Direct access to the after Second Class Staircase, then up to  Deck, then forward through the Second Class Smoking Room to the forward Second Class Staircase and directly up to the Boat Deck.

Route 8

From: same as Route 7.

Boat Deck entrance: same as Route 6.

Direct access to the after Second Class Staircase, then up to C Deck, then forward through the Second Class Library to the forward Second Class Staircase and directly up to the Boat Deck.
