The editors of EuConst are inviting proposals for a special section to be published in one of our forthcoming issues. Has your research project or conference produced a set of interesting articles on a topic of European constitutional law, or will such a set of articles result from your project in the next months? Please send your proposal to euconst@uva.nl no later than 1 June 2021.
A special section in EuConst is a set of articles, totalling a length of up to 160 pages (72,000 words including footnotes). It is published in one issue, with an introduction by you as guest editor. Articles are selected by the guest editors and reviewed and curated by them before submitting them as a set with an overarching introduction. The EuConst editorial board organises double-blind peer review and retains the ultimate decision on acceptance of articles included. Submission of the definitive set of articles can take place between now and early next year, with a view to publication about half a year after submission.
Please ensure your proposal comprises an overall description of the planned special section of no more than 2,500 words long (including footnotes) and a full list of articles to be included, with author names, titles and abstracts of no more than 300 words for each article in the set. An indication of how far your project has progressed, timeline for your meetings or other activities and a choice of submission date should also be included.
In selecting one of the proposals received, we will especially look for thematic fit to the scope of EuConst, for good complementarity of included articles and clear coherence throughout the set, and at your plans for selecting contributions and reviewing them before submission. The outcome will be communicated by 12 July 2021.
