[The Protocol, concerning the financial, economic and technical assistance which Malta will receive from Italy, has not been reproduced.According to the Protocol, Italy undertakes a financial contribution of 12 million U.S. dollars a year to Malta for a period of five years commencing from 1979. In addition, a concessionary financial credit of 15 million U.S. dollars is made available for development projects inMalta, and cooperative projects, envisaged by Italian Law No. 38 of Pebruary 9, 1979, are provided for, with not less than 4 million U.S.dollars a year going to such projects. Monies for cooperative projects must be utilized before the end of 1983. A Mixed Commission is establisto monitor the implementation of the Protocol.]
