On the turbulence-induced seeding of large scale-length magnetic field during the interactions of plasma clouds

Abstract

It is shown that turbulent interactions of two interpenetrating plasma clouds can cause seeding of the large scale-length magnetic field. This process becomes especially pronounced when clouds have the ions with different Z/M ratios.
