Abstract

Cheiromycina globosa and C. ananas spp. nov. are described in the lichenized hyphomycete genus Cheiromycina, one from Germany and one from the USA. A key is provided to all four species now known in genus, and all other lichenized hyphomycetes are briefly mentioned. All are corticolous and rarely recorded, so far only from temperate regions in Europe and North America.
