page 424 note 2 I have to thank Miss Barnard and Major Fowler for drawing my attention to a vessel now in Liége Museum, from Neerhaeren (Prov. de Limbourg) which also shows what appears to be the same technique. The vessel, however, is not of beaker form, and it is queried in the Catalogue of the Museum (p. 102, fig. 92) as of the Iron Age date.
