(1) En fait il devait compléter vingt-quatre phrases, puisqu'une même phrase incomplète fut ajoutée aux quatre questionnaires pour déceler les attitudes à l'égard du test lui-même.

(2) Les phrases incomplètes à ce propos sont les suivantes: a) “A woman who has no children…”; b) “A woman who has only one child…”; c) “A woman who has many children…”; (d), (e), (f) sont identiques aux trois précédentes mais ont pour sujet: “a man” en place de “a woman”; (g) “A couple who has three children…”; (h) “A young married couple who has two children…”; (i) “A young married couple who decided not to have many children…”.
