Empiricism in Psychotherapy: Behavioural Specification and Measurement

Psychotherapy can borrow an empirical base from behaviour technology, a discipline which involves the control and prediction of behaviour through environmental manipulation. Fundamental to the achievement of control and prediction is measurement.
