Summary

This list is based on J. Fitzgibbons, Cromwell’s House of Lords, 241-6. Those named in italics did not take their seats in the Other House. Belasyse and Johnston sat only in the Other House, and their biographies are provided in an Appendix. All the other Members also sat in the Commons or the unicameral Parliament before December 1657, so have biographies in these volumes. William Fiennes, Kennedy, Montagu, Rich, Sheffield and Wharton neither took their seats in the Other House nor sat in the Commons 1640-57, so their biographies do not appear in these volumes.
