The Parkerian pagination misses out pp. 77 and 78. Pages 271–286 (eight leaves) were lost subsequent to the s. xvi pagination. Eleven pages (pp. 139–160) of MS 162 above were originally part of the present MS, making up the last of quire 2, all of quire 3, and the first two leaves of quire 4. These too contain glosses and are indexed above. On the mutilation of the MS cf. MacLean, pp. 430–434; R.I. Page, ‘Anglo-Saxon Texts in Early Modern Transcripts’, Transactions of the Cambridge Bibliographical Society 6 (1972–76), pp. 79–85. ME glosses printed in the apparatus of Pope's edition (his MS R). Glosses from pp. 31–32 (Parkerian copy of parts of two original pages, now in MS 162 as pp. 139 and 160) printed on pp. 80–82 of R.I. Page (1972–76). Glosses discussed MacLean, pp. 436–437; Schröer (1885), pp. xix–xxi; Assmann, p. 252 (brief reference); in Ælfric's Hexameron Anglice, or The Old English Hexameron, ed. S.J. Crawford, Bibliothek der angelsächsischen Prosa 10 (Kassel, 1921), p. 7; S.J. Crawford, ‘The Worcester Marks and Glosses of the Old English Manuscripts in the Bodleian together with the Worcester Version of the Nicene Creed’, Anglia 52 (1928), esp. pp. 1–5 (general comments); Franzen, pp. 49–51. MS listed by Cameron, pp. 221, 223.
