This volume is in the hand-writing of Thomas Traherne the poet ; and is his private book of Meditations & Devotions. I need not say that I regard it as a very valuable relic of the author.

Bertram Dobell

Hee is not heer, for he is risen ; come, see the place wher the lord Lay Heer are Angells employed in soe low a place as to Catechize women ; And the women after were Employd in so high an Office as to Catechise the Apostles.
