The Elements of Christianity and Science

The Elements series on Christianity and Science will offer an authoritative presentation of scholarship in this interdisciplinary field of inquiry. Opening new avenues for study and research, the series will highlight several issues, notably: the importance of historical scholarship for understanding the relationship between Christianity and natural science; the need for further work relating scientific themes to the details of Christian theological traditions; the place of philosophy in a contemporary work in this area, while recognising the differences between philosophical schools and approaches;  the value of attention to distinct areas of scientific study, rather than to a generalised notion of science; and the bearing of work in this field to practical topics of human and planetary wellbeing.
