Elements in Indigenous Environmental Research Cambridge University Press

Here is what we need in your initial proposal: 

1.) Short Description (no more than one A4 page):

a. A discussion of the Element’s main argument, sources and methods, and implications for scholarship and/or policy. 

b. Clarify what is new and distinctive about this work and how its conclusions alter existing debates or thinking within one or more fields. 

c. Audience: a short assessment of who the audience will be for this book, including other relevant articles/books to which the proposed Element can be compared. 

d. Please be specific about what Indigenous community(ies) your research addresses, with attention to how ‘Indigenous’ is being defined.

2.) Author Bio: a brief description of the author’s background and accomplishments, including relevant publishing and/or policy experience. 

3.) Chapter Outline and Short Bibliography: a listing of the proposed chapters and expected contents. Include a word count. Please email your proposal to the Associate Editor Matthias Wong (myw22@cantab.ac.uk).
