Summary

Additions to the description of African psychology are called for.

African psychology is not a homogeneous, unchanging terrain. African psychologists disagree about what African psychology is. In fact, some psychologists born and working in Africa do not regard themselves, or are not regarded, as African psychologists. That is really confusing.

Some African psychologists perpetuate knowledge that is prejudiced against Africans. Some African psychologists are conservative, invested in preserving the world in which psychology functions as it is, more or less. And some are radical.
