Summary
Some of the negative opinions and sentiments about Africancentred psychology are expressed by individuals. Some of the negativity is observable in institutional arrangements, such as what is taught in psychology departments, and who is recruited into professional clinical, counselling, organisational and educational psychology programmes. Ironically, some of the negativity comes from unexpected quarters, like black psychologists.
