Science is a National Curriculum subject within the four nations. There may be variations as to the way it is taught but there is no doubt that support from home can only benefit such learning. There is a wealth of materials listed below with activities to inspire and support science understanding. There are many organisations, such as the Science Museum, STEM and Jodrell Bank, who have created fun and engaging resources to use at home or at school. Some topics have been listed under the specific school of science – Biology, Chemistry or Physics. It is certainly well worth exploring the resources and having a go at some kitchen science together. This is home learning at its best and can benefit the whole family. It's fun too!
