Summary
Dracula might be said to bring together all the currents of thought we have examined in this study in its vision of apparently correct British values and the engagements and capacities that threaten those values. The Romantic model of transcendent aesthetic consciousness figures as the shadow-world to which the vampire can transport his victims, and the immaterial realm to which he belongs.
