Summary
In Southern Europe, the advent of new democracies had severe constitutional implications concerning the catalogue of social, economic and cultural rights in States such as Greece, Spain or Portugal. In fact, Portuguese constitutional rights should be interpreted as a consequence of the Carnation Revolution.
