Convocation anno primo Caroliprimi regis held by Archbishop Abbot anno decimo quarto translation is, begun at St Paul's, London, videlicet 18 May 1625

[fos. 398-9] A writ to the archbishop for parliament, 17 May 1625. A writ for the convocation, 18 May 1625. Archbishop's mandate citatory to the bishop of London,

[fo. 400] A writ to prorogue to the 1st of June 1625. Prorogued by the vicar general by commission.

[fo.401] A writ to prorogue again to the 20th of June 1625. Prorogued by the vicar general by commission,

Session 1. Monday 20 June 1625

[fo. 406] Archbishop goes by coach to London house and thence to St Paul's etc.

[fos. 407-8] Archdeacon of Canterbury's certificate with the king's writ and archbishop's mandate inserted.

[fo. 410] Bishop of Lincoln, lord keeper, president by commission, calls for the lower house, moves for subsidies.

[fos. 411-20] Grant of three subsidies of 4s, payable by half-yearly moieties. First payment, the 1st of December 1627. Last payment the 1st of June 1630.

Session 6. Tuesday 12 July 1625

[fo. 421] Prorogued by Dr Goad by virtue of the archbishop's writ and king's commission to Christ Church, Oxford, the second day of August 1625.

Session 7. Tuesday 2 August 1625

At Christ Church, Oxford. Archbishop present. Adjourned to the fifth instant at Merton College chapel.

Session 8. Friday 5 August 1625

At Merton College chapel, Oxford. Adjourned to the twelfth instant in the same place.

Adjourned to the thirteenth instant, the same place.

Session 10. Saturday 13 August 1625

[fo. 422] Dissolved by the archbishop in person by virtue of the king's writ.
