This journal uses a single-anonymous model of peer review. The author does not know the identity of the reviewers, but the reviewers know the identity of the author.
The Journal seeks three reviewers per submission, and aims to return a first decision within 3 months of submission.
Different kinds of paper are assessed according to different criteria, please
see here for info on the type of papers accepted.
Please note that Book Reviews and PhD abstracts are not peer-reviewed.
Data, code, or other materials not part of the manuscript itself are not formally peer-reviewed.
To appeal an editorial decision, contact the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Office and specify the reason for your appeal. Your appeal will be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. The final decision regarding your appeal will rest with the Editor-in-Chief.
