PSRM is a signatory of the Data Access and Research Transparency (DA-RT) statement, promoting data sharing and research transparency in Political Science. The journal thus maintains a strict policy requiring authors of accepted articles using quantitative data to provide all data and code necessary for the journal and for other scholars to reproduce their results.  After a manuscript is conditionally accepted and prior to publication in PSRM all empirical results will be reproduced by a replication assistant.

In addition, PSRM has recently established a replication procedure for formal theory papers to parallel our process for empirical papers. After a manuscript is conditionally accepted, and prior to publication, the full set of proofs will be read and checked by a replication assistant trained in formal theory.
