Call for Papers: Special Issue on the impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted higher education and resulted in unexpected challenges to students, faculty, and administrators. The Editors of PS: Political Science & Politics call for paper submissions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are particularly interested in essays and/or research examining:

  1. 1. new and productive opportunities for engagement, pedagogy, and research in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. 
  2. 2. impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath on diversity, equity, and inclusion in political science 
  3. 3. summaries, distillations, and reviews of important research findings related to political attitudes and political behavior in response to the pandemic and governmental responses  
  4. 4. original research into the ongoing political, social, and economic impacts of the pandemic 

Submission Guide - Deadline: July 1, 2022

To Submit: Submit manuscripts through the online system at: www.editorialmanager.com/ps

Length: Manuscripts must be fewer than 4,000 words, including notes and references.

Style, Format, References: Manuscripts must be submitted in Word, should include in-text citations that correspond with endnotes and references conforming to the Style Manual (Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition). An online appendix can be uploaded for supplementary and supporting material.
