Returns to the writ of summons were made by the archbishops of Armagh, Cashel and Dublin, as well as the bishops of Meath, Cork and Cloyne, Limerick, Waterford and Lismore, Ferns, Kildare, Leighlin and Ossory. It is not known how many of these appeared in person (though the archbishop of Armagh certainly did not). Proctors of the clergy who are known to have attended this parliament are:

The clergy subsidies of 1420-1

In the parliament of 1420-1 and in the subsequent great council of 1421, three subsidies were voted to the king, of which the clergy portion was ten percent. The first subsidy was granted on 7 June 1420 due in two halves, the first on 1 August 1420 and the second on 1 November 1420. The second subsidy was granted on 2 December 1420 and was due on 2 February 1421. The third subsidy was granted on 10 October 1421 and was payable immediately.
