Summary

Orders to be observed.

1. The minister the next synode to present to all the articles, and to returne the names of all the communicants and of the children fitt to be catechised.

2. The minister shall heareafter at every communion note the names of every communicante, and soe of the children catechised and returne the same to the deane rurall every three monethes and the deane rurall to the archdeacon at his visitation and the archedeacon to the courte, the like returne shalbe made of every sermon preached and every homilie reade.

3. The churchwardens the better to performe theire oathe shall every Sunday and holiday sett downe in writinge the names of every one that is absent from churche and deliver a coppie thereof to the minister, whoe shall returne the same to the archdeacon at his visitation and the archdeacon to the courte. And shall once every monethe uppon some Sunday in the afternoone conferre and sett downe in writinge what matter they finde worthie [of] reformation.

4. The inferior ministers to repayer monethely to them unto whome they are committed and there receave instructions and give accompte, aswell for theire studies, as what homilies they shall reade every Sunday and hollidaye and this shalbe returned in writing as before.
