The order to resseyue brothers and susters to the suffrages of the religion there when the chapter ys do they that shall be resseyued brothers and susters shall come yn to the chapter house before the priores and conuent and when they be come the priores shall sey sires and dames ye desire to be brothers and susters of this place …

… when the masse ys do the priores the conuent and the brothers and susters shall go to dyner together and criste blesse them amen quod john baker.
Heading: ‘kyngton momalm’. Order to receive brothers and sisters at Kyngton monastery (Kington St Michael, Wiltshire, Priory of B.V.M., of Benedictine nuns); with embedded Latin prayers.

With the conuent al the ympne veni creator spiritus the priores euntte spiritum tunc etcetera the priores deus qui corda fidelium etcetera as apperreth in the nexst leve folowyng and then the priores shall sey ihu haue mercy on the sovle of john baker. Prayer.

When the chapter ys do the priores and conuent shall byde stylle yn chapter house and the suppriores shal go ovte of the chaptor house and sette and brynge ynto the chaptor house the damesell that shal be a mynchon before the priores and then shall the damesell lye dovne at the priores feete …

… then thus oreson saied the priores shal take up this newe mynchyn or mynchens and leede them to the qwere dore and then there this newe mynchyn or mynchyns shal sey propter amorem dominum mei iesu cristequem bidi quem amam in quem credidi et quem dilexi then the preste to masse of the holy trynyte benedictum sit sanctum trinitas etcetera Heading (f. 5): ‘The ordor to resseyue a mynchon there’; running header (f. 5): ‘kyngton momalm’.
