‘The instruccioun of novices’ (heading f. 5); translation of Formula noviciorum (David of Augsburg), referred to in the prologue (f. 5). The colophon states ‘… the hoole boke prayses be to god wrytten by the hond of Thomas Prestins brother of Syon’ (f. 193). Expanded recension of the Formula Noviciorum or De Exterioris et Interioris Hominis Compositione. Wells Rev. 9:3458–59 [67]; Jolliffe H.2.a, O.4.a.
