‘Experimente’ (f. 6v); ‘fynis speculum’ (f. 7v). On f. 7v is a diagram of a circle with the basic compass points ‘north’ ‘est’ ‘south’ ‘west’ noted in English. Instructions for conjuring a spirit in a mirror.

The scercell for this experyment is in the therd lefe after thys and the fyrste word of þe lefe of the boke ys sequitur experimentum.

A note referring the reader forwards to f. 15v where this heading is given above a circular diagram with Latin text. The experiment in question is presumably described in the Latin text which precedes this English note on f. 13.
