‘Here bigynneþ þe prohime of þe book þat is cleped þe myrroure of þe blissed lif of oure lord iesu crist’ (f. 2); ‘Explicit speculum vite cristi’ (f. 140v). Preceded on ff. 1–2v by a table of contents with the rubric heading: ‘Here foloweth the kalender of the chapitres of this book and at the bygynnyng is the proheme of þe book that is cleped the mirrour of the blessed lyf of oure lord iesu crist’, and with the concluding rubric ‘Attende lector …’. ‘Memoriam fecit mirabilium suorum misericors et miserator donus estam dedit timentibus se’ (f. 140v). Ends imperfectly. ‘Treatise on the Sacrament’ which Nicholas Love intended to follow his Mirroure of the Blissid Lyf of Jesu Criste. IPMEP 553; Wells Rev. 9:3454–6 [61]. The text breaks off at a point equivalent to Sargent p. 237 line 6.
Inscriptions: f. 149v: ‘Edward Neald oweþ this Booke’; the same name also occurs in a note on f. 57 (s. xvi, noted by Sargent).
