For a cold stomak tak a good quantite of sauge and comyn and iij croppys of fenel and seth in stale ale into the iiij th parte it wil dissolue glet and flewme and it is good ayens the pallesy.

To make aqua tartary tak ml j of fullerserth and poudir it and ley it in vinegre in a pot of erth and hete it on the fire aftur that do it in a glas and wiþinne iiij days it wil be watur whiche is good for the eche morsu and lepre and makyth fair skyn.

For a man that hath lost his nature or ell is ij cold in hijs body tak fenel seed perseli seed carwi seed i cardemoyne auar lignum aloes garialoser galing canel of eche j d wite of reub- 3 ij of alu 3 ij of mastik 3 i stamp all thees in a mortur and put a good quantite of sucre in a panne and melt it than take all thi powdre and put therto and stere it til it be thik and ropand and put it in boxes and vse it morwe and even.

For the mygryme in the heed a medicyn proved and for a posteme in the heed and for a dropesy and alle maner ache in the heed take iiij penywyght of the rote of pelles of spayne half a penywyght of spykenard grind hem and boyle togedir wiþ vineger and whan it is cold do þerto …
