To dostrie vermyn take quyk syluer and medul it weel with grece til the quik siluer be al queynt and no þing þerof seyn by itself and þenne put þerto powdre of stafsacre and medle it wel þerwiþ and take þanne a gridil of wollen cloþ as long as it may be sewed a bowte his body in stede of a paunchez and of ij ynches of brede and strike on þat cloþ þe white of an ey not broken to kepe it þat it synke not in to þe cloþ and ley þe mater þer upon not ful þik for it wil drop awey þanne and sewe aboue þat lynnen cloþ as brod and as longe as þe wollen cloþ is and þat schal be next þe body.
