‘Alle manere of men schulde holde goddes heestes for wiþouten holdynge of hem may no man be saued and so þe gospelle telliþ how oon axed crist what he schulde do for to comen to heuene and crist badde him ʒif þat he wolde entre into blisse þat he schulde kepe þe comaundementes of god’ (f. 3).
