Summary

Center of all centers, core of cores,

almond that closes on itself and sweetens, —

all this that reaches to the farthest stars

is flesh around your seed. Be greeted.

Look: you can feel how nothing clings to you;

your shell expands, is infinite.

There, strong juice rises to press through,

and radiance from beyond is helping it.

For high above, your suns that reel and glow

in splendor, shine while wheeling free.

But in you now there starts to grow

what lives when no more suns shall be.
